About

Nicole offers compassionate, evidence-based therapy for anyone who's struggling — whether that's navigating a hard season, making sense of a relationship, or figuring out how to move forward when things feel stuck. She believes being understood shouldn't be a luxury, and she works to make that the baseline from the very first session.

About Nicole

Nicole is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) working under the clinical supervision of Kameron Kaveh, LMFT. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University and a Master's in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University — and her background in early childhood education gives her a particularly strong foundation for working with younger clients.

She works with a wide range of people: children navigating behavioral or emotional challenges, teens figuring out who they are, adults dealing with anxiety, relationship strain, or major transitions, and couples who want to get ahead of recurring conflict before it compounds. Her work is rooted in the belief that most people already have more insight than they've been given credit for — her job is to help them access it.

Nicole's approach is warm and collaborative. Sessions are conversations, not clinical procedures — and she focuses on making sure every client leaves with something real to carry forward.

"You don't have to have it figured out to start — that's exactly what we're here for."

— Nicole Menolascino, AMFT - New Leaf Therapy

How Nicole Works

Nicole draws from several evidence-based approaches, adapting to what fits each client rather than fitting clients into a single method.

CBT

Identifying the thought patterns and beliefs driving how you feel — and developing practical tools to shift them in ways that actually stick between sessions.

ATTACHMENT-BASED

Understanding how early relationships shape your patterns in current ones — especially useful for individual adults and couples navigating recurring disconnection.

PERSON-CENTERED

You set the direction. Nicole listens carefully, reflects honestly, and supports without judgment — following your lead, not a preset protocol.

EARLY CHILDHOOD

Grounded in developmental psychology, Nicole's early childhood background informs how she works with younger clients and helps families navigate formative stages with more confidence.
