New Leaf Therapy

Hiya!
Hello! I’m Kameron “Kam” Kaveh, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. My therapeutic approach is rooted in two core beliefs: therapy should be something you look forward to, and it should provide a safe, collaborative space to process the changes you want to make in your life.
Therapy with me
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, with a particular focus on advocacy, identity development, and healing from religious trauma. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach—starting with an in-depth assessment to identify developmental “stuck points” that may be impacting your ability to move forward.
In our work together, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Person-Centered Therapy to help you challenge intrusive thoughts, build positive self-esteem, and move toward a more grounded and authentic version of yourself.
As a Safe Zone-trained, LGBTQ+ allied therapist, I strive to create an affirming space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Let’s work together to explore, heal, and uncover the most authentic you.
Who do I work with?
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, college-aged students, and young adults navigating identity, relationships, and mental health. My practice is affirming of all gender identities and expressions, and I provide supportive care for those exploring polyamory, recovering from religious trauma, or facing anxiety, self-worth issues, and life transitions. Whether you're seeking gender-affirming therapy, processing past experiences, or working toward greater authenticity, I offer a safe, collaborative space to grow.
