Hello
-
Hi, I’m Everest Deadlock (they/he), an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in California.
I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally responsive therapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families through telehealth across the state. I specialize in supporting neurodiverse individuals, racial and ethnic minorities, and members of the queer community who are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, identity exploration, and major life transitions. My goal is to create a space where all parts of you feel seen, supported, and safe to explore. -
My therapeutic approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
Together, we’ll explore how negative core beliefs about yourself, others, or the world may be keeping you stuck, and work to reframe them in a way that supports healing and growth. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), all while holding space for your lived experience and intersecting identities. -
You don’t have to face your struggles alone.
If you’re feeling lost, stuck, or unsure of your next steps, I’m here to walk with you through it. It’s an honor to do this work, and I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
Therapy with me
Therapy with me is about showing up authentically, even when things feel messy or overwhelming.Whether you're questioning who you are, managing the weight of past trauma, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, we’ll work at your pace to build insight, develop coping tools, and cultivate self-acceptance. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels aligned and empowered.
